Craft & Caro keychain

Fiddle no more with traditional keyrings! Craft & Caro’s got you covered, with the easiest keyring ever designed, now in our Travel collection.

Such a simple innovation: add a bend in one section of the ring to create leverage, allowing the user to press down on one side, raising the other side so that keys can be added easily. No need to fumble around with troublesome split rings anymore. No need to break nails or teeth. No need to gouge yourself. This simple system makes it so easy to put keys on and take them off, you’ll never want to use the old kind ever again. I cringe when I see them now.

Exotac FREEkey frontThis ingenious little set was designed in Sweden by Drosselmeyer, an industrial design firm made famous by rave reviews from the likes of Oprah. Manufactured under license in the USA, these high-grade stainless steel pieces will last a lifetime. A soft matte finish, rounded edges, and flat ring design give it a unique, luxurious feel and aesthetic. Three included mini rings allow for organization and grouping into your on-and-off needs, such as home, work, and car, so it’s quick to exchange sets depending on the day’s activities.

Fulton & Roark product line

Our first solid colognes are here! Along with a new bar soap and shave cream, too. From down South a bit, these are from Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Solid cologne is an immensely convenient form of fragrance, being that there’s no liquid to spray or spill. It can be applied anywhere without intruding on the nearby would-be-splashed, and it’s highly concentrated, so one quick touch of the finger from wax to wrist and you’re all set. Onlookers need not even know what rarefied deviousness just transpired. Really, that’ll be enough. Inconspicuously rub wrist to wrist and if you see fit, each to the opposite side of your neck, and your intimate vicinity shall be an olfactory delight!

Fulton and Roark_Solid Cologne_info cardPocket-sized, solid metal containers make this slight of hand especially doable. And while 0.2oz isn’t big, it lasts a good long while, so don’t worry about running out any time soon.

Fulton and Roark Solid Cologne_Tin_openThree scents match personality and occasion. Shackleford is warm with notes of amber and sandalwood, rich and round, hints of campfire. Hatteras is fresh, light, and green, a classic sport scent with hints of tennisball and light spice. Tybee is light and clean, subtle musk, on a backdrop of rosewood and cedar. All three are well balanced, masculine, and accessible.

Fulton and Roark_Solid Cologne_groupFulton & Roark shave cream is something special. Emollient and non-foaming, it’s made to be used without a brush. Squeeze a small dollop into your fingers and apply directly to your skin, spreading across the desired area. Avocado, tea tree, jojoba and citrus oils ensure a smooth, close, irritant-free shave that will leave your skin moisturized and calm. Bergamot, spearmint and ginger grass scent make shaving with this cream an awakening but relaxing experience. As with all F&R products, a little goes a long way, and with the built-in roller you’ll never struggle to get every last drop out of this tube.

Fulton and Roark Shave Cream with soap in package

Last but not least, the bar soap! This stuff has caused a veritable frenzy amongst aficionados, as it’s achieved something so few bar soaps manage to do: not dry out your skin. Shea and cocoa butters, olive oil, glycerine, and oat flour combine to create a rich, moisturizing lather that nourishes while it cleanses. Gentle enough for the most sensitive skins. Moroccan red clay, eucalyptus, sage, black spruce, white grapefruit, and black pepper oils give it a faint scent light enough for daily use without overwhelming other fragrances in your routine. Triple milled, this soap bar can last months.

Rifle Paper Co. Craft & Caro set

Added today in our Work collection, we present preeminent paper goods maker Rifle Paper Co.

Founded in 2009 by husband and wife Anna and Nathan Bond, Rifle has been churning out fine paper goods adorned with sometimes dreamy, sometimes cheeky, always beautiful designs ever since. Rifle uses only made-in-USA, FSC-certified feedstock, environmentally conscious printing methods and inks, and hand assembles and packages everything in their studio in Winter Park, Florida. With our love of gold and slant toward the masculine, we’ve chosen just a few of our favorites for the Craft & Caro shelves, with more to come.

Hello Cards

Rifle Paper Co. Assorted Hello Cards

The Hello series is meant for just that, saying hello! With a blank interior, what to say after that is entirely up to you, making these pleasantly easy to use for all sorts of things; thank-yous, don’t-forgets, you’re-inviteds, I-miss-yous. Heck, even don’t-call-me-anymores (and what a nice way to do it, too!). Four gold-stamped illustrations adorn the cover to start the conversation with the standard salutation, and matching envelopes are included. Take home a set of your favorite design, or opt for the assorted set with two of each.

Pocket Notebooks

Rifle Paper Co. pocket notebook set

“With paper and implement at hand, one need never be bored.”

– Monsieur Philosophe

That’s not a real famous quote but it could be because it’s true. These blank, unruled little notebooks provide infinite analog entertainment, not to mention utility, right from your back pocket. Coniferous and deciduous illustration stamped in gold on front and back cover against matte black on one, blush on the other, these come in twos. Jot down ideas, creative tidbits, doodle away. The possibilities are endless. Pair with a bullet pencil for ultimate pocket-readiness.

You’re A Fox

Rifle Paper Co. You're A Fox at Craft & Caro

While maybe not as well suited for professional correspondence, this quintessential card is sure to work on its recipient. There may be no better way to tell the Fox in your life you like his steez. Once again blank on the inside, the slate is yours to fill with the particulars of Fox’s attraction whether it’s his cunning mischievousness, natural aesthetic, or possibly his tophat and monocle (that would be great). No matter, this mail is guaranteed to elicit that elusive flattered chuckle.

MCMC group for EMMH

Visit the Groom collection to see five new perfume oils from MCMC of Brooklyn, NY.

Corresponding to our collections of MCMC candles and eau de parfums, these fragrance oils come in five scents: Hunter, Maine, Noble, Garden, and Love. Each is unique in essence and equally well balanced, with a base of organic jojoba oil, fractionated coconut oil, fragrance, and essential oils. Roll on each wrist sparingly, then rub wrists to neck, and you’ll waft delicately masculine aromas all day, especially to those who get close, such as huggers and kissers.

Crafted in small batches and hand bottled by the sisters McClain (MCMC – get it?!) each bottle is accompanied by a batch number and a short story of how the scent came to be.

MCMC Fragrances Perfume Oil Hunter

Hunter

“When I was younger I had a friend named Harrison, who I liked to call Hunter. He lent me the book Ishmael, and played guitar, and taught me about loving the environment.

Years later, memories of our long friendship and his adventures building maple sugar cabins in Vermont inspired the fragrance Hunter. With tobacco absolute, organic Bourbon vanilla and fir balsam, this fragrance is best worn with a flannel shirt.”

MCMC Fragrances Perfume Oil Maine

Maine

“Maine is inspired by a day spent on the island of North Haven off the coast of Maine, falling in love.

Bulgarian rose absolute, local clary sage, wild Somalian myrrh and French seaweed absolute convey the fresh scents of sea, air, sun, pine, and discovery of a single perfect beach plum rose. Dries down into the musky scent of sensual skin coupled with sun-dried grass”

MCMC Fragrances Perfume Oil Noble

Noble

“Noble is the first fragrance I ever created. Long before formal training, I was toying with the sensual, intoxicating scent of Indian jasmine absolute and combining it with the fiery, earthy vetiver oil of Haiti. The two ingredients are a symbol of time spent in the beautiful and spiritual country of Nepal.

Combined with rich almondy notes of chai tea, burning incense, amber and musk, the jasmine-centered Noble is a long-lasting floral woody with an ethereal drydown”

MCMC Fragrances Perfume Oil Love

Love

“The first time I fell in love, it was all fireworks and sparks and a rush of crazy dancing. The second time I fell in lover, it was in a field by the ocean. My love is infinite.

Intense and spicy top notes of Japanese yuzu citrus, French sweet basil and Chinese magnolia oil grow into the burning intensity of ancient templewood and gunpowder. The scent lasts forever, just like true love.”

We pick it back up again today with the Double Wave business card holder from Folle.

Designed by Folmer Christensen of Denmark, this desktop card holder is as the title says, a double wave. The vertical wave creates the perch on which 20-30 of your business cards sit. The horizontal wave is harder to perceive from some angles, but very apparent from straight-on.

Folle Double Wave Card Holder head on

The Double Wave is solid steel with a polished satin finish for an elegant, modern aesthetic, making an edgy but playful, design-aware statement on behalf of anyone upon whose desk it sits. The flows of simultaneous vertical and horizontal curvatures create illusory visual impressions that almost always warrant a double-take, and keep the piece interesting time and again – as any work of art should – challenging the onlooker to decipher exactly what it is he or she is seeing.

Such a simple, easily overlooked item on almost every professional’s desk, elevated to beauty but far from gauche. See the Double Wave card holder, designed and made in Denmark by Folle, available in Craft & Caro’s Work collection today: bit.ly/FolleDW
